Position Summary:
The VoIP Support Technician is responsible for leading the technical relationship of one or more Data-Tech clients. They will provide superior support to a subset of Data-Tech customers in a complex network and/or hosting solutions environment where it pertains to VoiP. They will troubleshoot systems and application incidents to provide the maximum availability and optimal Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). They will ensure the Support Center has all documentation necessary to understand and support their clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Build Virtual and Physical Servers for VoiP Deployment
    • Setup 3CX Multitenant and Single Instance Client Servers
    • Modify Phone Provisioning Templates to Spec
    • Provision and Deploy VoiP Phones, Session Border Controllers
    • Work with Clients on call routing and Management Console Setup
    • Troubleshoot all VoiP related issues
    • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the client and hosted VoiP infrastructure.

    • Able to work weekends/nights/after hours as needed. Unless an emergency, will be pre- scheduled only.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting (on site or off), and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, concentration to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and/ or over the telephone.  Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.  Must be able to drive a motorized vehicle.
