Job Description Data-Tech is the leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) with IT Security and Compliance Services in South-Eastern United States with a Privately Owned Data-Center in Tampa and Co-Location in Georgia. Primarily focused on managing network infrastructure, servers, workstations, data integrity, VoIP phone systems & Business Continuity Systems for our national business clients. The Department Manager supervises and manages all aspects of the Department. Working closely with the other managers to manage the clientís expectations and ongoing experience with Data-Tech's Technical Support Services. This position will provide leadership to the department teamís staff, interfacing with the customer, recruiting and staff development. Measurement and reporting of key business metrics, development and implementation of technical services strategy and execution. The Department Manager has Creative Freedom to collaborate with the Support Team, Engineering and Sales Team to lead efforts in designing and implementing quality technical project services, best practices, and methodologies to ensure client satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Department Manager's position is the key contributor in the success of client satisfaction and efficiency of our technical teams. This is achieved by hosting strategic meetings with the teams and other managers, refining processes to improve service delivery, monitoring & managing key business metrics, and managing the development of the professional services teamís skill sets.
