The Business Development Representative is responsible for pursuing new prospects and qualifying them for Data-Tech's line of premium Managed IT and Managed IT Security services. The primary targeted markets comprise companies with between 25 and 100 employees in defined industry verticals. The Business Development Representative is responsible for meeting Data-Tech's quarterly quota of end user seats by identifying, prospecting, calling, qualifying and setting sales meeting appointments with C-Level executives of small to mid-sized business (SMBs). Data-Tech is an established IT Service Provider who focuses on combining unparalleled customer service with cutting edge technology solutions and IT strategy for our small/medium business clients. Possess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closed of the sales process Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships Enjoy working with customers and external audiences High energy and drive with good negotiation skills Proficient with general office applications Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills Skill in preparing written communications and materials Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment Experience: Sales: 1 years (Preferred) Outside sales: 1 year (Preferred) B2B inside sales, lead generation, B2B networking, or appointment setting experience preferred. Previous experience with developing own leads and prospecting for brand new business. Prior experience selling in one of the following industries is a plus: Information Technology (IT) Services, IT Hardware, Software, SaaS or Cloud. Experience in prospecting and research. Experience with CRM Software preferred.
