Job Description Data-Tech is the leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) with IT Security and Compliance Services in South-Eastern United States with a Privately Owned Datacenter in Tampa and Co-Location in Georgia. Focused on managing network infrastructure, servers, workstations, data-backup, VoIP phone systems & customized Business Continuity Systems for our national business clients. The Data-Center Operations Manager supervises and manages the Datacenter including all Projects, Engineers & Coordinates Communication with division managers. This position will provide leadership to the data-center operations and technical staff, interfacing with engineering on customer impacting enhancements, measurement and quality engineering of project processes in support of key business metrics. Development and implementation of technical project services strategy and execution. The Data-Center Operations Manager will collaborate with the Engineering and Sales Team to lead efforts in designing and implementing quality technical solutions, best practices, and methodologies to ensure client satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Data-Center Operations Manager position is the key contributor in the success of the company and client satisfaction by managing, improving and continually upgrading the systems and processes for the datacenter. Hosting strategic meetings with the technical project teams, refining processes to improve service delivery, monitoring & managing key business metrics, and the development of the technical operations and services with the teams supporting Data-Center Operations. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to meet the requirements listed below which are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Lead efforts to develop overall Data-Center Technical Service strategies, objectives and metrics which focusing on improving efficiency, reliability and performance. Willingness to develop professionally. Leadership, coaching, self-motivated and organizational skills. Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or tasks simultaneously. Well-developed written and oral communications skills. Ability to collaborate, establish and maintain relationships with co-workers. Routinely multitask from the tactical to the strategic activities in a fast-paced environment. This position will be graded on overall performance, reliability and customer satisfaction. Required Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of technical engineering and implementation management required. Passion for Development of technologically for complex, multi-disciplined and diverse systems. Network Engineering, VLAN and Subnetting Expert IT Security Engineering (Sonic Wall and Sophos Firewalls) Office 365 Tenant Management Expert Azure Operations and Management Expert Kaseya IT Management Experience Microsoft SQL Server Administration and Management Experience Experience working with BGP Microsoft Hyper-V Expert Engineer Experience working with Storage Craft Backup Systems Parallels Remote Desktop Computing Experience Overall a passion and constant desire to learn, test and implement the latest Technology.
