Managed IT Services Support Engineer
We are adding to our Managed IT Services Team. Hiring professional IT Support Engineers with strong and proven customer services experience in the IT market to be based in our Tampa, Florida office and datacenter.
 
You will have the opportunity to work with the premier Managed IT Support Tools in the Kaseya Portfolio, build and expand upon our professional and quality support service to our customers using the latest technology and software to diagnose, create and implement high level IT solutions. Automate resolutions of complex user and computing issues through the use of Kaseya standard Incident Management processes, scripting and enterprise level tools. As a key member of the team you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of new or improved service delivery strategies and initiatives.

Essential Qualifications of 2 years’ experience as Sr. Technical Engineer with Knowledge of:
    1. VB, GPO and Command Line Scripting
    2. TCP/IP, routing, switching, cabling, internet protocols (BGP,ISIS, and OSPF), firewalls & VPNs
    3. SQL databases, Microsoft Server and Windows 10 Command Line Operations
    4. Active Directory Knowledge of Scripting and GPO
    5. Commands/utilities including but not limited to Apache, FTP, telnet, SSH, SMTP, POP, IMAP
    6. Strong understanding of IT Security
Customer Centric Skills
    • Excellent listening skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English.
    • Strong Organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent phone etiquette
    • Excellent time management; (i.e. ability to prioritize tickets and complete research on time)
    • Ability to properly articulate ideas, suggestions, and provide positive/constructive feedback
    • Ability to work with a team as well as independently without direct supervision
    • Willingness to work with team members or group to achieve common goals
    • Willingness to liaise with other departments to achieve common goals
Preferred:
    • Successful completion of the Kaseya Certified Administrator Certification (KCA)
    • Solid In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environment
    • Industry-accepted certifications or equivalent work experience in one or more of these areas:
    1. A+ Hardware/Software, Network+, Linux+, Server+
    2. Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
    3. MCP, MCTS or MCITP
