Job Description
As an Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for researching prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursuing leads and following through to a successful agreement. This role is a largely client-facing role which requires you to work on both strategic long- and short-term plans and projects. You will need to build strong relationships with clients on various levels as well as acquire knowledge about their business. You will need to present technical solutions to non-technical people as well as developers.
The Appointment Setter is responsible for pursuing new prospects and qualifying them for Data-Tech's line of premium Managed IT and Managed IT Security services. The primary targeted markets comprise companies with between 25 and 100 employees in defined industry verticals. The Appointment Setter is responsible for meeting Data-Tech's quarterly quota of end user seats by identifying, prospecting, calling, qualifying and setting sales meeting appointments with C-Level executives of small to mid-sized business (SMBs). In all cases you are expected to represent the client in their best technical and financial interest.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
    • B2B inside sales, lead generation, B2B networking, or appointment setting
    • Developing leads and prospecting for brand new business
    • Experience selling in one of the following industries: Information Technology (IT) Services, IT Hardware, Software, SaaS or Cloud
    • Experience in prospecting and research
    • Experience with CRM Software preferred
    • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry 
    • Managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process
