The Project Coordinator, who will report directly to the CIO and will work directly with the members of the Engineering/Data Center and Managed Services department to assist in daily operations and facilitate strategic goals for the department. The position is responsible for daily clerical duties, managerial follow-up on various directives, organizational duties and supporting productivity and efficiency efforts in the Engineering Department. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring that all Service Interactions (SIs), Work Orders (WOs) and Project Tasks are kept up to date and completed in a timely and/or by the scheduled completion date while communicating with the client as the tasks dictate. The Project Coordinators primary focus is to ensure that all Engineering SIs and WOs are kept up on at all times and task completion runs smooth and efficiently by tracking SI and WO Progress, consistently communicating SI and WO status updates to clients, internal team and management. This individual should be aa highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach and impeccable organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Performance Expectations:
  • Timely communications and resolution for client communications. Action, Response and/or a path to resolve within the client SLA.
  • Demonstration of clear, consistent, and concise feedback, while demonstrating a polite, helpful and knowledgeable demeanor.
  • Daily response to SIs and Work orders from previous day with timely follow-up for completion by Engineers.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread documentation from the technical service team for client deliverables making suggestions for improvements in readability and adding charts/graphs where necessary.
  • Train and Guide team members in the Engineering Department on client communication, reporting requirements, time reporting, time management, proper communication both internally and external and proper process completion for SIs and Work Orders.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting, either on site or off, and to use standard office equipment including a computer, concentration to maintain attention to detail despite any interruptions. Strength to carry objects weighing up to 50lbs. Vision to read printed materials as well as computer screen/s. Hearing and speech to communicate in person and/or via telephone. Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to drive a motorized vehicle.
